Our premises have a ground floor reception and a ground floor surgery is available, although there are two small steps at the entrance to the building. Portable ramps are available for these steps if required. Our toilet facilities are accessed down a short flight of seven stairs.
We have a small group of 11 friendly and GDC registered staff, ranging from Dentists, Dental Therapists, Dental Nurses and Trainee Dental Nurses.
Preet and Neha are supported by associate dentist Ian Broughton, a dental therapist Shyju Ammini and a staff of four qualified Dental Nurses and two trainee dental nurses.
Our staff are still working really hard and have been throughout the pandemic, so we would really appreciate if you could respect and be patient through these hard times.
Thank you from the staff of GFDHC.
We offer all our patients a full range of NHS dentistry. You may also choose to have some treatment privately as an alternative to NHS treatment, particularly tooth coloured (white) fillings , crowns and other cosmetic treatments that are not always available on the NHS. We provide a referral service for treatment that we don't provide.
We now offer an affordable monthly direct debit Private scheme (Flexiplan). This allows a patient to spread the cost of their Examinations and hygiene appointments over the course of a year. This does not include any other routine treatment. Any routine treatment required would be a separate charge alongside the monthly direct debit. To enquire about this private scheme please contact our practice on 0191 514 1717.
Please note that deposits are taken to confirm your commitment to dental care with us for appointments with private treatment, It is not a way to generate profit.
Short notice cancellations or missed appointments are chargeable as per appointment time. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to complete your course of treatment or offer you treatment in the future if you consistently (more than twice) arrive late, cancel appointments at short notice or fail to attend for your treatment.
We offer patients a range of payment options, depending on their needs. You may pay for your dental care by cash, or credit/debit card. We try to make payment as straightforward as possible. Our normal policy is that patients are asked to pay for their examination at the initial consultation appointment, with the full balance of charges to be paid at the second appointment. We also offer a tabio finance plan for private treatment.
